Wedding joy for Aberdeen man battling leukaemia

AN ABERDEEN man battling blood cancer was given a major boost for his dream wedding.

Cammy Smith 25, was diagnosed with leukaemia two weeks ago, just 14 months after recovering from the illness.

The 25-year-old got engaged to Stephanie Robertson 48 hours after being given the devastating news.

The owners of Logie Country House had read the Aberdeen couple?s heartbreaking story in the Evening Express and at a wedding show last week, they approached Stephanie, 25, and offered the estate for their wedding next year ? free of charge.
