So now that the humongous update has gone live for PS3, we have the option to ?rent-a-server.?? I haven?t seen many details that fully describe what kind of functionality this offers, but it could be just what we?ve been looking for!? With the ability to host our own server, we can finally have private lobbies that can be used for: private matches, tutorials, flight training, sniper practice, 1000 ticket Operation Metro matches, making really random YouTube videos, you name it!
All of this fun comes at a price though: $1.49 / $6.99 / $24.99 / $64.99 (for 1, 7, 30, and 90 days).? I would gladly lay down the $65 so that we can always have a server all to ourselves (keep in mind we can make it public so that we can play with randoms and other teams).? However, some of you have made it clear that you want to pitch in and donate so that it can be the TeamPwnage server.
So, I would like to open this up to everyone in our community that would like to donate to our BF3 (PS3 for now) server fund.? I would like it if everyone that donates would pitch in an equal amount so that no one feels like it?s more ?their server? than someone else?s.? The more people that want to pitch in, the less everyone would have to donate (10 people = $6.50/person, 15 people = $4.33/person, etc?).? So please let me know in the comments if you would like to put money toward our server.
